When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and timezone. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile information (name, email, profile picture). When you add a payment method, your card details are processed and stored securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
We use your information to: provide and operate the Pledgr service, process commitment contract charges when goals are missed, send email notifications about check-ins and referee verifications, and improve the service.
Pledgr uses Stripe to process payments. When you miss a goal, we charge your saved payment method through Stripe. All payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We store only a reference ID to your Stripe customer and payment method — never your card details.
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). This includes your profile, goals, check-in history, and charge records. Photo proofs uploaded for verification are stored in Supabase Storage.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional emails), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.
If you designate a referee for a goal, we share your goal title, check-in dates, and your name/email with the referee via email. Referees receive a secure verification link and do not need to create an account.
You can delete individual goals from the goal detail page. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at support@pledgr.site. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
